Cooper Park 2 is a ground-up, 100% affordable, 18-story, multi-family, mixed-use building on the site of the former Greenpoint Hospital campus in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

 

The second of four buildings on the site, the cast-in-place concrete building will provide 311 units of affordable housing, a health clinic open to neighborhood residents, a community facility space, and a small retail cafe.

 

The building was awarded a Buildings of Excellence grant from NYSERDA and will be built to Passive House standards. Tenant amenities include a fitness room, children's play area, coworking space in the lobby, and a tenant lounge and roof terrace on the 13th floor.
